Embark on a picturesque 25-minute drive to Arrowtown, where your biking adventure begins. After arranging your bike or E-bike, you’ll receive valuable trail advice, a map, and a safety briefing, ensuring a smooth self-guided experience.
Start by exploring the charming town of Arrowtown, treating yourself to a refreshing coffee or a delightful brunch. Then, commence your ride along the captivating Arrow River Trail, leading you towards Morven Ferry. The route continues along the enchanting Twin Rivers Trail, tracing the scenic Kawarau and Shotover Rivers until you reach the shores of magnificent Lake Whakatipu. From there, follow the trail alongside the lake’s edge until you arrive at Queenstown Bay, where you can conveniently return your bike at our shop located at 9 Duke Street.
This remarkable ride covers a minimum distance of 35 km and features a few moderate hills. If you have concerns about handling the distance or the hilly terrain, consider upgrading to an electric bike for an additional $50, ensuring an enjoyable and effortless journey.
